The Kids Room

November 28, 2011 David Thomas Leave a Comment

This is a view of the back room of our camper.  This picture was taken in the evening, as the kids were getting ready for bed.  There is another bed under Jessica (the one in the red sleeping bag), but Brandon is still small enough to sleep on the floor across the back.  Also note the use of backpacking type sleeping bags.  We do a lot of traveling in the shoulder seasons, and usually cannot use the furnace because of the drain on the batteries.  Therefor, we are prepared for the cold.  Please remember that children need the same equipment that you have in order to be comfortable (and sleep well).  Keeping the kids dry and warm is key to their experience with camping, and in them passing it along to their kids.
