We are now in the campground and campsite that we will (hopefully) stay in until we leave California in May. It is in Pine Grove, CA, about 8 miles east of Jackson CA and about a thousand feet higher in elevation. We are now camped among the pines, and have plenty of shade. We also have hills, and have been getting used to walking in the hills.
Compared to the Rancheria, this campground would be described as rustic, with several gravel roads and gravel sites. For us, it works well because we enjoy a rustic environment. The kids have enjoyed being here so far, since there is good bike riding, a decent playground, and a small arcade to play in.
Since we are still relatively new here, there is not a whole lot more to say. Everyone has been nice, and the campground has been good to us. I would say that this campground is better suited to a little smaller rig. We are 41 feet, and our options in this campground are a bit limited. The people here are, however, willing to work with you to get you in.
