This is Jack. This year, Martinsville camping was the weekend before Halloween. As family entertainment (mainly them laughing at me), we carved a pumpkin that my son Nathan picked out. This was an evening’s activity as a family, which did not include TV or electronics. This fits our mission: to have family activities that improve togetherness instead of everyone going their own direction. This was a very enjoyable activity for us that kept the evenings lit. Jack was placed under the camper and lit during the nights.
To get the camper that high requires several steps, none of which are recommended by the manufacturer. We lift the camper up as high as we can with the front jack, block the two front jacks and put them down. Then, lift the front jack, leaving the camper resting on the front stabilizer jacks. Lift the front jack up, put more blocking under it, then lift the front of the camper more. Then just repeat the steps until the camper is level. Again, I must stress that this is not recommended by the manufacturer. Also, make sure that the camper is well blocked so that it does not roll on you. Thanks for the question.
In the photo with your camper at Martinsville and the Concrete blocks? How did you jack the camper up that far to get it Level?
Thanks, Chris
