Last weekend, the weekend before Thanksgiving, our camper and house went in to the dealer for a few more items that needed repaired, primarily trim and a couple of things that had not come in right from the factory the last time it was at the dealer. The only thing that we had to have worked on twice was the main sink in the kitchen. We were still having “water on the floor” issues and did not know why. All of the fittings underneath were checked and seemed dry. They found that the drain itself had worked its way loose slightly, and had a small drip.
Otherwise, the dealer fixed the trim in the front bedroom, fixed trim in the back bedroom, and replaced quite a few of the LED lights inside that were flickering for an unknown reason. It is nice not to have the strobe light effect going on when we are inside.
The other thing that I asked them to do was to install a dryer vent. This is not for an actual dryer, but to exhaust my cabinet that I have all of my electronics in, such as our mini server and backup drives. I will write a post as to how I made use of this space at a later date.
Overall, I must say that we enjoy the Bay Hill camper for living. We have had most of the “bugs” worked out, I think, and we will see how it travels over the road soon.
Our news for the week is that we know where we will be headed! In one week we are headed south to Jackson CA. I will be working at a home health agency there for three months, and then who knows where we will be headed? At this point, we have no idea.
